“Shattering Glass Ceilings” is available via Manna Bookshops, Book Depository, or via her website at - https://www.christinelowauthor.com
Reviewed by Rev. Murray Wills – Tararua Area
My friend the Reverend Chris Low who serves God in both England and New Zealand has written an empowering testimony of her life, her suffering and subsequent healing from Multiple Sclerosis and her call to ordination as a Priest.
The difficulties she documents in following God’s call are recorded as a personal and are an important historical account of discrimination. She writes of the barriers put in the way of the ordination of Women in the Anglican Church as someone with lived through this prejudiced experience.
The book also serves as a witness to God’s provision and the faithful support of John, Chris’ husband and of her family. God’s healing can be miraculous and Chris’ testimony demonstrates just how wonderfully God has worked in her life, both by calling her to minister as a Priest and her faithful ministry of healing.
I loved the book! I am pleased that Chris has shared her story with us, in the hope of encouraging others to step out in faith. The Reverend Christine “Chris” Low is an Anglican Priest and a former Warden of the International Order of St Luke the Physician in the United Kingdom.
